The original company, EE Computer Systems, was founded in Johannesburg, South Africa in 1989 by Howard V. Robson. The company relocated to Gilbert, Arizona in 1994. The name was changed to HRtronics, LLC in January 1998. During 2006, the company relocated to Woodinville, Washington. Between 1994 and 2006, the focus of the company has been in the area of consulting electronic system design, and we have designed state of the art systems for clients for a variety of industrial and military applications. Beginning in 2007, the company is shifting it’s focus towards becoming a full product development and marketing company, and will introduce innovative and advanced technology products in the industrial, consumer and audio electronic fields.
HRtronics is owned and operated by Howard, Cecile, Vaughan, and Natasha Robson.
Howard Robson is the president and majority owner of HRtronics. He holds an MSEE degree with specialization in digital electronics and acoustics from The University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa. He has more than 30 years of experience in electronic and software engineering, as well as product development, software development, hardware design, and project management.
Cecile Robson is general manager of HRtronics, and heads accounting and purchasing. She has training and more than 25 years of experience in accounting and customer service.
Vaughan Robson is head CAD/CAE design engineer at HRtronics. He completed the Master of Recording II program at the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences. He has designed and constructed a sound recording studio and has recorded, mixed, and mastered CDs for several bands. He has more than five years of mechanical 2D drafting and 3D modeling experience and in numerous facets of design, from the conceptual stage through prototype development.
Natasha Robson is responsible for documentation and information communication. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in education from Northern Arizona University, where she graduated magna cum laude. She holds education certifications in Arizona and Washington. She has more than three years of teaching experience, teaching courses including English, social studies, creative writing, and drama.
